My precious!

As a lover of books I have a hard time to let go, even if it’s a book I don’t like. I have been trying to buy books and create a library because I love looking at them, reading them, thinking about them… But that has all come to an end.

These last few days I have given away 30 books to my classes, and I will keep going. I have come to the conclusion that I don’t need to physically own them to be able to think about them. Besides, nothing compares to going to a great REAL library!

Some books I won’t give away, like the ones by Kate Atkinson, Neil Gaiman, Jojo Moyes and Kate Morton, or my fantasy! And that it just as well since my favorite piece of furniture at home is the bookshelf that I made myself.

    Oh, that’s a tough one…you’re a much stronger person than I am…

I understand your predicament, I’m trying to downsize my bookshelves myself. I wrote a post about it here: http://minimalistsometimes.com/2014/01/03/taking-a-stab-at-the-bookshelves
The goal is to only fill my specialty paperback bookshelves that I to made myself πŸ˜‰ guess we have something in common… I wish you luck with your books though.. I’m not sure how well I’ll be doing πŸ˜‰
